Reaching Salt Lake City,
Ok, without sounding rude, it felt like a alternate universe. We walked up to temple square and it just was strange to us non religious folk. They were all really friendly and welcoming, but we certainly felt we stood out like sore thumbs.
We headed across the road as they have the largest family Center in the world. And completely free! You get a video talk on how it works, then you are paired up with a missionary/voulenteer to get you started.
Both Kieran and I struggled with the little info we knew, and I even had way more to go on! Kieran was unscessful for now, but there could be some hope in the future with a copy of a marriage in the family, but I kinda of got somewhere, I found my great grandmas 1911 censors which was cool to see.
They were really patient with us and seemed to like the challenge of trying to help us.
We were in there for a while so we decide to head to a campsite on the border of Nevada and Utah, which was close and on route to Reno and Carson City!
But we stopped of at a winco foods again!! It’s amazing at how cheap things are!!.. Got lots of bargains! …I’m getting excited over shopping…food shopping?!… Oh dear.
