We didn’t have to leave till 2 so thought getting on top of the washing would be best.
While I was doing that, Kieran was trying to get walking dead up and running, which we saw 20mins of!! Very gutted! Can’t wait to get some internet again, lol.
Before we headed to hoover dam, we drove past the gold and silver pawn shop that’s on telly , called “pawn shop” , in downtown Vegas, we didn’t queue to get inside as we were advised that the hosts are never in and that there isn’t much of the show items other than jewlery, but we got a picture!! Oh and the white chapel. Lol, then it was off to hoover dam!

Is Easy getting too, even in an rv, just get security checked then you drive across!

We crossed the time zone! There’s an hour difference from Nevada and Arizona!

We walked along, timed it well again being there at 4, hardly anyone there!

After walking across and back we were on our way to the Grand Canyon! Very long drive!
Hello Arizona!!

We programmed in the sat nav South canyon, stopped about 1hr away from it and just along the old Route 66!! as we were both getting tired and needed to feed! But we were struggling to find somewhere, saw a turning for camping that lead us to nothing, So we decided to try our luck with a motel that had huge grounds, I was kindly volunteered by Kieran to go in and ask. Well inside was interesting, completely dedicated to Route 66 , literally alllllll the trimmings! Lol. Lady looked like she’d been up longer than us, lol, but was kind, she let us stay and even came out to show us where she meant as there was no markings.
I did us a spaghetti Bol, which again was yummy, getting the hang of this cooking malarkey! Lol
