We woke up and just got going , the town we had stopped in looked just the same as it did in the night, dead and ghostly, lol,
when we got to the sign we decide to have our breakfast there, coco pops! We drove through for a bit, but was starting to run low on fuel so decided to then head on to Vegas.
Some of our journey!…
It’s funny leading up to it, loads of Bill boards , lol. We weren’t really sure where to head, especially as we were in an rv, but the rv had a book that contained campsites for each states and we found one on the strip, it’s part of circus circus. With it being on the strip it meant we could walk everywhere, so made sense to stay here for the two nights, we freshened up, had chicken wraps! And headed out.
Strip at night!….
Lots of lights, hotels stood tall and proud exhibiting what they had to offer, the venisan is a mini Venice!! Well I say mini, blooming huge! The belagio is just monstrous, it’s hard to tell at some points where one starts and the other finishes as they are just so vast.
The one thing that dominates is the amount of people trying to hand out porn cards! Lol. I don’t know whether I should feel offended that Kieran and I both got offers, lol.
The homeless don’t bother you, they just sit with their signs which I must add are quite hilarious , one said “my wife had transgender surgery and ran off with my girlfriend” another read, “help ninjas kidnapped my girlfriend need lessons to learn Kung fu” lol. But there isn’t many so you feel a bit safer than the cities, plus there’s security guards/police at most of casinos in eye shot.
We watched the fountain show at the belagio, at this point we were getting hungry , couldn’t decide what to have so ended up in am “out back” which is an Aussie restaurant! Ribs were amazing but still didn’t beat the ones in Seattle, the onion ring platter though was yummy, they were southern fried, odd but lush. We then headed along the other side of the strip back to the camper , absolutely vamooshed!!

Hello Love the panorama shots, Vegas looks exactly like Vegas should, did it feel like you thought it might.
Did you not put even a nickel in a slot?
I know I said the world is not a film set, but the Mcfly house in back to the Future is: 9303 Roslyndale Avenue, Arleta, California, if you are passing. x
