Ok so I’m going to start by saying think we bit off more than we could chew, especially the amount we had already packed in 2days!
but we chose to walk from our hotel to the golden gate, after trying to haggle a discount on the bike, which being the cheap skates we are now still wasn’t good enough, lol.
I think it would of been much more bearable if there was a breeze , there wasn’t and by mid day we we’re being toasted by the sun, not complaining, nice to see the sun but not when your concentrating on getting somewhere that at that point was feeling like a million miles away, we haven’t had Internet and a good enough map to work it out but we left off at 11 and didn’t get passed the bridge till 4, lol!! Lovely sights along the coastal path , there were some fisherman/crab fishing on a pier and they had visitors…sea lions, which was funny to watch.

Typically the place we were going to seek a break from the sun was closed…just kept going , well stopped and ate the crisps ‘chips’ we had brought along…

When we got across we headed to the sign for the town with the ferry that was going to get us back. But when we looked and it was another 2 and a bit miles away we thought we’d try our luck with the buses, one said no, the other was more than willing, nice guy, and it was even going to the nice harbour town that the ferry is located, but we were happy to just sit on the bus, lol.
Oh and when we got talking to the guy he refred to us as the hitch hikers , feeling much more like a traveller, lol.

Sausalito is the town we stopped at with the bus, and where the ferry was, so glad we got the bus!

He took us back and also explaining stops along the way, saw the studio for George Lucas.then headed back to fishermans wahrf,
While we ate our fish and chips there was a guy playing the drums and signing, which attracted the homeless and Chinese, which lead them in having a dance off, which was entertaining.
Yes we were exhausted but also it was our last night, so we decided to jump on the cable car , I mainly filmed it, purely because it was dark and hard to see but also so we can remember how up hilly it was, but I’m sure we won’t forget!
