We couldn’t recommend a place enough for such a lovely, easy drive with wonderful views! We also couldn’t of picked a nicer day, sun was shining and was probably the warmest day , very lucky!
To get there we hopped on the ferry, only a 30min ride, the sat nav did want to drive us in to the water rather than the queue for it.
We then just followed the road up!
Drove through port gamble, this was a very picturesque town with crisply painted wood houses, very pretty ,
then stopped in Port Angeles for food stopped here at the smugglers landing, food was brill. Then it was the final stretch to forks!! ( yes the home of the twilight books!) hehe Kieran was so excited!!
So we arrived in forks! They have certainly embraced twilight , even after a few years of no films or books! shops had a sign or something to do with twilight,we first went to native to twilight, they had dolls!! lol, then we drove round to find the tourist information Center as that’s where bella’s cars are kept, we drove for a bit and by chance found the school and then another store, called leppells ,which had a twilight tour bus! We had to go in , we got talking to the old guy that I assume does the tours and he was lovely, he gave us a map and showed us where to go! Very kind, all the people in the town were lovely, everyone on the Olympic peninsula we met were so lovely! So with the map armed we found lots more than just the cars!!
The car on the left is from the book the one on the right is from the film.
Finally and by no means least la push!! The beach setting for twilight, was lovely however hard to get to , so we drove up to 2nd beach which was an anxiety walk through the woods, you expected Jacob and the guys running through in wolf form ( well that’s if your a geek about twilight) the beach was amazing not a soul around till we left! Two other came down to camp!! Would deffo do that!
Also on the trail to the beach people had left items on the roots on a turned up tree, we found a piece of rope so added a piece of us!
Jacobs house is here and his bike!! Awesome!!
It was a wonderful day!!! And I certainly would go back there!!

Hello you two.
Beach looks great…rugged and senic.
Love the fact they have a few memorabilia around the place.
I guess it will run for a few more years.
Have fun
