Road trip to Vancouver, Canada!!

So we had to pop over the border seems as its only 3hrs away from us!
We decide to go to Vancouver, it was a really easy drive! With 96 miles just purely going straight, nice and flat! And would of been more I think if it wasn’t for the border control! Lol,
After going through border control we headed to our first stop! Stanley park , unfortunately it was low mist making it hard to see most of the time but when we came out of it the sun was shining and was lovely!
We headed on up to capillano suspension bridge, which is North Vancouver, to get there we went over the lions gate bridge which was lovely but misty! Lol, capillano bridge wasn’t which was great! Kieran was very brave!! (He hates heights! Lol) also did the tree top trail which are bridges up between the trees and down to the ridge , and around a cliff!! The hotel which was more like a motel style which was quite cool to experience was only down the road! So we stopped of at a Chinese filled our faces and got a good sleep for another day!
Started the day off by heading over to downtown Vancouver, walked through Robson square that looks like it was lifted from England! Then had a mooch round and found an amazing comic and collectable shop!
We drove to Granville Island which was very quirky and unique! Full of art and have breweries and distilleries all old fashioned and smelt amazing!! Two brothers from Brazil turned these concrete blocks into art!! They are called “giants” we had a hot choc here too! Wasn’t up for trying the Americano with whiskey and maple syrup!! Think that would of been way to much, lol.
We did try and find the Olympic village, a place to stop to mark it but just homes now and lots of building/road work happening it seems!!
Had a lovely time!! Now back and so happy that my first parcel from home has arrived !! Thank you mother hen!!!
