So we got up relatively early so we could head over to the tiger temple, we didn’t know how long it would take and the lady at the desk said, oh you only need an hour or two , even to do the stairs, I thought brill perfect , plenty of time, we had a taxi from the hotel that would pick us back up, even better.
Lots of monks and nuns around and dogs and monkeys!…
We headed along and got blessed with a blessing bracelet done by a nun…
We then started to climb the rather ambitious staircase!…
Yes you are reading correctly … 1,237 steps, and not easy steps!!…
We reached 600 steps when we realised , A. We are not fit and B. We hand not allowed enough time as the taxi would be waiting for us when we had only just reached the top, haha, so we headed back down to see the temples on the normal level, we will train and come back!haha…
We did our part and donated towards the roof panels and a lovely nun cornered us and we ended up making a wish to donate tiles for the new bigger building…
As we were leaving Kieran jumped out of skin as a lizard jumped on his leg and started to climb up he had to shake him off, as I stood there and laughed the little fella then decided to run up my shoe and hang out on my hip for a bit until I used the paper to shimmy him off!!…
