so we got up much earlier today, the aim was to head up to Cape tribulation then head back down to make the last croc cruise of the day before setting of for Darwin!…
The drive is one the beautifulest we’ve done, just so green, the road is narrow and windy but with again rewarding views of the forest,
Being earlier we had timed it poorly with tour buses! Can’t win! So we decided as soon as we had crossed the ferry to drive straight up to Cape trib and work our way back down to miss the bus loads!…
The ferry ride is short and sweet but great center view of the river…
The beach for Cape tribulation is spotless and really unique the further you walk up…
Honestly it’s like bath water so inviting but on our way on to the Beach we saw this sign… Something my dad would just ignore…haha…
And as I was saying as you go further up it does get more interesting than just a normal beach , trees have rooted all along …
Amazing how it routes it’s self.
As we walked back we were walking through the water when I noticed a dark patch thinking it was seaweed, quickly noticing that it was infact a shark!, baby reef shark just swimming next to us…
Not only did we see another reef shark further along, we saw a stingray fly up in the air just a little out from the shore …thinking it was someone’s tea, unfortunately it happened so quick the camera just wasn’t ready!
We then headed of to do a bit of a forest walk…
We did a botanical garden walk which was all raised walking, just was lovely…
We then headed back, stopped off at a homemade ice creamy factory…mines the double…
…and jumped on the ferry back just in time for another croc tour!! …bit more successful saw three!!…
