Rainbow beach, nice but certainly not the nicest We’ve seen and how we have heard people talk about it, still worth the look for the cliff face to the side, beautiful colours come through,

   
 The aim also was to find a tour for Fraser Island and was told best places are either rainbow beach or the main place Hervey Bay, well, didn’t have much luck there, other than people working on selling clearly “commission”( benefit for them) offers and when we named others, pretty much ignored, so with nothing much there we headed on to Hervey Bay.

So now at Hervey bay, 

Staying on a lovely site that’s right on the beach the strange little fisher/ holiday resort has a mash of things. 

  
Lovely people running the sight making it easy and less hard sell on the tours, toss up on drop bear, 2 day Fraser tours or cool dingos at the moment….

We headed off to find our nearest Coles, way cheaper and nicer products than woolworths, to get some food in other than pasta and tuna! Haha.

On our walk we walked over a small bridge which had a few signs about bats that live there, well on our walk home we certainly can guarantee they live there! So many you couldn’t count all flying from the trees on the foot path over to the river beyond the bridge, crazy creepy but defiantly cool!!
