so we hadn’t set our alarms and clearly we were tired 10:30 we woke up!! Brill! 

We got up and after an hour or so the lady poped over, she was great to chat with and was really laid back about us staying for as long as we needed and even let us plug in to the mains to see if we could get the fridge going, the sun came out and the air temperature was so much warmer than the mountains, certainly had made a difference for sleeping!
We bumped into the only two other guys on the site who had become friends and co workers, one local and one German, gave us some free and handy tips on places to stay in Brisbane and where not too.

Made a furry friend too!..

They then told us to walk down the track and follow the river round to a little sandy beach area…
At this point we were unsure of the fridge and had found out the shower was no longer working…typical, so we decided to stay another night but on power and so we didn’t have to rush to the next stop, yay hot showers!…

Meant we could go for a walk round, was a beautiful and spacious place…
