For Thoes that don’t know who nat and Matt are?!: I met Natalie when I studied theatrical make up and some one who also shares a strong love for the twilight saga that we ended up in London twice for the premiers 5 years ago!! And Matt is her boyfriend!!… Simples!!… They headed in at the start of the week and were staying just outside of sydney with Nats sister, we’d arranged to meet up on the Friday and head off to a wildlife park called featherdale!…Was awesome seeing them at the train station very strange recogonising someone…it’s been a while since we’ve had a familiar face!!!…
Featherdale is just outside of sydney in a town called “blacktown” pretty easy to get to once your on the right train and bus! Haha, think we picked a perfect day and went nice and earlier that we had hardly anyone with us!…
So many koalas at this place!!!…
And one was even called chloe!!… They were pretty active too..for koalas, well chloe was…haha!
We couldn’t believe the positions they sleep in…one did have a wobble.bless!
We got to pet and have a picture with one too! So fluffy!!! Kieran wasn’t up for petting…
Next section was feeding the Kangaroos and wallabies! Don’t be fooled by their charmingly cute and innocent looks! They have some mighty grip when they want a cone… So basically the feed in the cone is dry grass…boring to them when an ice cream cone is available, haha…
Then headed along lots of birds all amazing colours!!…
We thought this one was winking…it’s only got one eye!… But looks like the bird from the game angry birds!!!…
Even penguins!!! The littlest in the world!…
They had some flying foxes!…
We headed in to another pen Kieran lost his cone ,but to be honest he didn’t really have a fighting chance! They clearly are wise all waiting at the door…
and this baby fell asleep to Matt stroking his little paws!!! So cute!
After spending many lovely hours here we headed into Sydney! … We walked along to see the opera house at night…
then to the rocks where we had amazing pizza and pasta in such a quirky old building…
Was a fab day and was lovely seeing and spending it with friends too!!
