Our main aim was to sort our Medicare cards! Then walked across town to then sort our tfn (tax file number)  which they advise both, Medicare reduces bills (equivalent to nhs) and tax file is for work so you don’t end up getting hammered 50% of your wage, get it back but best just sorting it, the funny thing is the one in town, martins place, can do both! Typical but lots of nice waking! Lol!

so after having an unsuccessful viewing the day before we headed back to Bondi, also to view another room.

the first stop on the way was to…Gregory’s guest house which has been made famous to me with my parents many stories of their stay.

When I was taking a picture of the unchanged place, we were approached by a resident who then insisted that we came inside to talk to the guy who runs it, Malcolm.

He showed us around the place, it’s tired but it works, as the 2 available rooms have new furniture and a new fridge, he told us the prices which made it seem a whole lot better, especially while we weren’t earning, certainly stayed in our minds as we viewed the other place, which was nice, but expensive for what you get, compared to the guest house…but how strange 25years ago my parents were here and there’s availability now… Spooky!

After viewing the room we headed to the coastal path, which is seconds from there, so lovely and has been beautiful carved from the years, if you follow it through Tamara beach it leads round to bondi. Certainly could get use to this.  

Lots to go home and consider…
